Osborne Avenue Detour in East Norwalk

Temporary closure of Osborne Avenue between Rowan and Ft. Point Street

2024 is going be a busy season for the railroad improvements in East Norwalk.

Work is expected to begin on the Osborne Avenue RR Bridge in the upcoming weeks

(TBD on/about Monday, Jan. 15, 2024 – March 7, 2024 – dates to be confirmed)

requiring a temporary closure of Osborne Avenue between Rowan and Ft. Point Street.

• Traffic will be detoured via Ft. Point Street or Van Zant Streets to points east and west.

• Local access permitted for BRIM AND CROWN access to parking garage at Osborne.

• Parking at Osborne for 25 Van Zant to be maintained.

• Pedestrian access to be maintained on alternate sidewalks.
