| 500 flyers distributed by EANA members to households near 89B Strawberry Hill Avenue to alert them to the apparent expanded use of the contractor's yard located on that property. Expansion is not permitted by zoning for nonconforming (grandfathered) use. Concerns specified as per accounts of neighbors: Unsightly stacks of exposed construction material and yard supplies that are highly visible from Strawberry Hill Ave. and Fitch Park; 18-wheel trucks delivering supplies in the early morning hours; Trucks belonging to landscapers and builders coming and going during the day, purchasing and loading supplies; Dust, noise and traffic that may increase health risks for the children that play in the park, walk along the street to school and for those that live in our neighborhood; Possible lowered standards for future development and decreased property values in the area, as have occurred with similar contractor's yards in other neighborhoods; | |
| EANA president in contact with Corporation Counsel office as they look into the potential zoning violations at 89B Strawberry Hill Avenue. Several EANA members involved in effort. Any risk to quality of life for the residents that live in the area will be monitored. | |

| First Street and Myrtle Street EANA members provided lists of conditions that city could fix through City Scan program | |
| On Saturday, August 24, at the request of EANA, the City Scan coordinator (Laurel Anderson) visited First Street.
