Last meeting: EANA Events Committee will meet on Monday, October 7 at 7 PM at 52 First Street. Regular monthly EANA meeting will be on Sunday, October 27 at 3 PM at 20 Raymond Terrace

| City Scan of the area of the Green, coordinated by EANA, was conducted on Sept. 26. Marija Bryant of Morgan Avenue assisted EANA president (Laurel Lindstrom) and the City Scan Coordinator (Laurel Anderson) with the scan. | |
| EANA members participated in annual Raymond Terrace Block Party that took place on Saturday, September 28. Good food and good conversation with neighbors. Once again a successful event. | |
| Mayor's Neighborhood Preservation Committee monthly meeting took place on October 2 at 10:00 AM at City Hall. EANA president provided an update of City Scan activities conducted by EANA. | |
| Owner of 89B Strawberry Hill Avenue received a 'cease and desist' from the City's Zoning Department. The owner has filed an appeal. EANA is following. | |
| Zoning Board of Appeals has public hearing scheduled Nov. 7 at 7:30 PM re 89B Strawberry Hill Avenue. | |
| EANA president in attendance at Planning Commission meeting on Oct. 8 when it discussed issue of resubmitting the East Avenue Village District designation possibility to public hearing again. The vote decided that the Commission would start the process over and allow public hearings to be scheduled so that the newly appointed commission members could hear the information and make a decision re approving the designation. There will be 2 public hearings. The first one is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 12 | |

| EANA participated in the very successful Pumpkin Festival on Sunday, Oct. 20 on the Norwalk Green organized by the Police Athletic League. EANA was responsible for the pumpkin decorating event and contest. EANA members Laurel Lindstrom and Josephine Martuccio worked hard and had a fun time at the festival |
